Don't target the torso since this will prevent you from deflecting the various limb attacks. Deflecting a limb attack will earn you either 3 or 7 EXP. Defeat the limbs, then target the torso. The torso can fire high-velocity blasts of energy at you. Try to keep moving so these energy blasts miss. Attack and heal until the battle ends.

Tip! A very frequent question for many players is how to obtain "bigger" cards. High-valued cards are not the answer! Many mistakenly discount low-valued cards as "useless"; they're far from it. Stock cards for a combo instead -- 1 + 2 + 2 will card break and damage any random heartless in Traverse Town. Take Leon's warning to heart, however.

Generally, to deflect a Blitzball, press the "X" button just after you see the entire Blitzball. There's no penalty for losing, so you can practice deflecting Blitzballs for as long as you like. For deflecting a soft-throw, you earn 1 EXP. Deflecting the high-velocity attack earns you 2 EXP. If a Blitzball hits Wakka, you earn 1 EXP and stun him.

Unless you're playing as Terra, I found MF to be easier for a first timer since you can spam Thunder Surge for offense, Cartwheel/Dodge Roll for evasion, and Curaga for ...

[A Supplement to the Oxford English Dictionary: Volume II (H-N); 1976] Let's cut to the chase. NO UNIQUE INVENTORY ITEM in the game is missable, not if you're thorough and complete each world. That said, there are plenty of things in KINGDOM HEARTS (KH) with a single or a very limited chance of obtaining as the game progresses.

Staff (left weapon) - +1 Magic Club and Shield (middle weapon) - +1 Defence Normal Club (right weapon) - +1 Attack In my opinion, the defence one will be better suited in the long run, but it really doesn't matter too much. Also, I chose the Staff for something different for this play through that I'm basing the walkthrough on.

I've been reading the ReCOM topics on the ReMix 1.5 board at GameFAQs and the sources are reliable enough to give credence to the above, but remains wholly unconfirmed by me. Anyone wishing to donate a PS3 and ReMix 1.5 is welcome to contact me; I'd gladly update this guide in exchange and trumpet your contribution.

NOTE: The map for The Eclipse crystals is admittedly not very useful for crystals 1-5, since they are inside the space station. Thus, a video guide has been included for them in the table below. The quickest way to get them all is to start at Waypoint ECL-01, take the red path first, and then double back for the last crystal on the green path when you're near the exit.

tldr: For KH fans, I fully recommend this game - it's only a 9/10 b/c of some small things For non-KH fans, play the other games first, then come back to this one :) Or, of course, just skip it entirely. After finishing the main story, and briefly beginning the post-game content, I can safely say that this game has met, but not exceeded, my expectations of what Kingdom Hearts 3 was tldr: For ...
